Welcome to Hideaway Designs! I’m Evelyn, the passionate founder of this unique mushroom-inspired e-commerce venture. Our goal is to celebrate the world of mushrooms and also to inspire a deeper connection with nature.

 

My journey, however, is not just about the love for mushrooms and the amazing benefits they bring. It's also a story of resilience, gratitude, and triumph over life's toughest challenges.

 

I was born with a type of rare cancer called neuroblastoma and was treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. My parents navigated this incredibly difficult time with the unwavering support of our family and the amazing team at St. Jude's. I'm forever thankful for my parents and my healthcare team’s tireless efforts that saved my life and enabled me to lead a rewarding and successful life (women in IT forever…..lol).

 

As someone who once thrived (well…..addicted) on coffee and energy drinks, I was unwittingly consuming an unhealthy amount of caffeine…..which we all know isn't particularly heart-friendly. However, as more studies emerged, highlighting the potential risks of excessive caffeine intake, I knew it was time to shift gears for the sake of my health.

 

That's when the captivating world of mushroom coffee unfurled before me, igniting an insatiable passion for all things mushroom! This earthy, invigorating blend served as the perfect energy booster without the harmful caffeine overload. I noticed an incredible surge in my vitality, felt healthier, and, most importantly, gained a deep-seated appreciation for the fascinating realm of mushrooms and the myriad benefits they offer.

 

This personal transformation and the passion it sparked inspired the inception of Hideaway Designs. Here, we offer an exclusive array of mushroom-inspired merchandise, including but not limited to t-shirts, mugs, tumblers, and stickers. Every single item, carefully curated and designed with affection, mirrors the enchanting allure and mystical charm of mushrooms.

 

But Hideaway Designs is more than just an e-commerce business. It's a platform to give back. To show my gratitude for the life-saving care I received at St. Jude's, I will be donating 5% of the profits to support their invaluable work.
